Hey Everyone!

Thanks to my nice friend Jessucka...she told me about a site meter. It is a little widget down at the bottom of the page and it tells me how many people have come here to visit and it also breaks down where they are from. Apparently, I have people from all over the world coming here to stop by...India, The Bahamas, Australia, England and many other places. I thought this was so cool. So, I think that if you're gonna stop by, say hi. I welcome all new people. I would love to hear from you. We know I don't have anything all that interesting to say so maybe you do!

Also, I'd like to point out that I now have Pac Man on the page so feel free to mix up some Pac Man with some Hangman.

Lastly, I would like to apologize for being MIA for a while. Many of you know that I have been quite busy and have had a lot going on. I do promise to try to be a lot more diligent about posting. I really will try but until March, things will be a bit slow and I really do apologize but I do promise to post a little more often.

Happy 2007!

Well, you've been asking for a new post so here it is! LOL. First off...I hope everyone had a nice weekend and a nice New Years. I personally think it's the dumbest holiday. Everything is triple the price and the people are all drunk and annoying. At least that's what I've found in NYC. So, I went to a friend's apartment then to a local pub. It was nice and low key. Every year I try to stay home on New Year's Eve but I get into so many fights about it, I just end up going out. So, it wasn't really eventful. I was home by 1:30am. Whatever.

Ok, as for resolutions, I don't do em. Though, I do tend to reevaluate things around this time of year and I do try to make some changes but I know that I'm not going to go all out and completely change...it doesn't work that way. Baby steps. Ok, I'm done rambling on about nothing but this constitutes a new post!

Glitter Wars...

So, when I was in college, I started sending out holiday cards. One year I decided it would be festive to include glitter in the cards. So, each card had some glitter and when you opened it...surprise. I didn't think this would be such a big deal because it was my sophomore year of college and we all lived in the dorms. Well, my friend Stephen thought this was a HUGE deal and he wanted to kill me because he said he was finding glitter for months. So began a bit of a prank war. Though, Stephen is the type who can give it out but can't take it. So, prank war with him is not the greatest. I come home one day and go to turn my bedroom door and it's covered in Vaseline and glitter. Ok, hahaha...that was cute. But then, later that night I go to use my phone...I didn't look at it before putting it to my ear....yup, you guessed it....more Vaseline and glitter so I now have that shit all over my ear and in my hair. Now I was a little annoyed but I laughed. I was plotting revenge. I was going to stage a glitter attack on Stephen's car but I was going to wait. I wanted him to be caught off guard....a sneak attack if you will. So time goes by and it does die down. I get caught first. I come home and Stephen is waiting in my bedroom with a shitload of glitter on a piece of plastic and he hits a switch on my fan and yup....glitter storm ALL OVER my bedroom. Gold glitter everywhere. It was like he went to the craft store and bought them out. So now I'm pissed and I mean war. I am still planning on the car attack. I was going to put the glitter ALL over the car....which is a bitch to clean but so was my room after the attack. Someone told Stephen about my planned attack and it was foiled and the whole thing was dropped because as I mentioned before, he can give it but can't take it and he became a really whiny bitch. Well, don't you worry...over the years I more than got him back. Well, the war began in December of 1995. So, this was 11 years ago and our prank wars have long since been over.....till today. I got my holiday card from Stephen in the mail today. It seemed kind of odd. It was not smooth. So, I felt it a bit and I also noticed that the entire envelope was totally sealed shut. Then I shook the card and I heard glitter. So, Stephen...nice try but I opened it over the garbage and there was no glittery mess like you intended!

So, I now ask for ideas....all ideas welcome. Here's the one caveat...he's a cop so I don't want to give him reason to arrest me. But pretty much anything legal goes.

I emailed the soda company on Saturday and I got a response today! They thanked me for my email as well as my concern and they are sorry I am unhappy with their product and they will forward my concerns to the marketing department. Then they said they would send me a coupon for a 12 pack and I would get that in several weeks. So, here's my question....where are they sending my coupon? I didn't give them my address and if they are emailing coupons...why weren't they in the email I just got? I don't get it. But I did get a response.

So, I've had this cold for a few days which is fine. Well....not fine but not a big deal. So, I woke up this morning and I can't swallow or talk. I have NO voice. To me.....this is almost a fate worse than death. Other than that....I really don't have much. The weekend was nice. Decent weather but really not much going on. I was trying to get rid of this cold that doesn't seem to want to leave my body. Damn germs.

Today's Rant...

I will soon not rant every day or rather, every post. Well, I just wanted to say that for years I have loved my diet sunkist soda. Well....now it tastes different. Fuckers must have changed the formula and now it tastes like baby aspirin and though I used to love that orange chalky goodness...I don't want to drink 12 ounces of it. So, I'm annoyed. Why can't companies leave well enough alone and keep the original formula that people apparently like since they buy it and have been buying it? That's all I ask. Well...for now. :)

DOWN WITH NEW YORK SPORTS CLUB!

So, I've been a member for about 5 years or so now and these people just don't appreciate it. I get my bank statement and find out that they have overcharged me for the last 2 months. Well, let me tell you...I don't appreciate this since they are overpriced anyway. So, I call the gym to try to rectify this situation. I am told the manager...Omar will call me back. Well, I wait 2 hours...no call from Omar so I call back. I'm told he has stepped out for his break and he'll call me back in a half an hour when he gets back. You guessed it...he doesn't call back! So, I call again and tell the person on the phone that this is just plain rude...I've been waiting 4 hours for a call back. So, I call their 800 number for customer service. Well, I get the problem fixed with regard to getting my refund but I try to explain that I think Omar is unprofessional for not calling back. They don't care and they basically say...well...we fixed you're problem so we're done. NO WE ARE NOT DONE! Your employees are not nice and are not helpful and that's not cool. Ok, I had to rant...I ranted and now I'm done.

I AM BACK! I can post. So damn you blogger for trying to get rid of me because you CAN'T! HA HA HA.

Well, hope everyone had a good turkey day. I had a good one...went to someone else's place and she did all the work which made be feel bad because she is 9 months preggers. I kept trying to help but I got yelled at. Oh well. Food was great though. I attempted making a cheesecake for the first time. It was a HUGE hit so I'm proud of myself. I was always afraid to conquer the cheesecake. I guess I do have other things to post so I'll just ramble a little since it's my first post back.

Well, I saw Casino Royale last weekend. LOVED IT! It was well done and gritty. And Daniel Craig is HOT. They had to show him nekkid as much as possible which was FINE with me. He's yummy. I also saw Borat...I highly recommend it. My friend and I laughed so hard we were spasming. We were kicking the seats in front of us uncontrollably. No worries...no one was sitting in those seats because if they were, we would have been more careful. I do hate when people kick my seat. It's just not nice. But we went to an 8pm show on Monday so the theater was empty which was also nice.

Well, that's it for now. I have to think up other things so post since I was so frustrated with not being able to get back on here. But I am BACK!!!!!

Trick...I downloaded firefox and used it as the browser. Too back I can't figure out how to get on here using IE. Oh well, I guess I can't have everything.

Just some political humor for today. I hope everyone goes out to vote for the candidates of their choice. We have the right to vote and it's important to vote. That's really all I'm going to say...I don't want to get political. I have only ever missed 1 vote and it was a primary and I had the flu. So, in about an hour or so, I'm going to go vote.
